Résumé/Présentation

Objectif de la revue de la littérature. Ici, nous synthétisons les recherches récentes clés (2021–2024) visant à comprendre l'expérience des personnes autistes, qu'elles soient membres du personnel ou étudiantes, qui évoluent dans l'environnement de l'enseignement supérieur (ES).
Conclusions récentes. Les étudiants et le personnel autistes continuent de rencontrer un manque de soutien flexible, cohérent et personnalisé dans le contexte de l'ES, et des tensions persistent entre les avantages de la divulgation de leur condition et la discrimination potentielle qui peut en découler. Des opportunités importantes pour un soutien social, émotionnel et pratique accru aux membres autistes de la communauté de l'ES restent inexploitées.
Résumé. Des obstacles distincts à l'accès et à l'épanouissement des personnes autistes dans l'ES persistent. Les récits personnels continuent de décrire une gamme d'expériences à la fois positives et négatives au sein de l'ES, mais il demeure clair que l'ES peut être intrinsèquement hostile dans sa configuration, nécessitant un grand effort pour y faire face.
