Les adolescentes autistes font face à des défis complexes et variés dans le milieu scolaire, notamment des problèmes de santé mentale, des besoins sociaux et éducatifs non satisfaits, et l'exclusion sociale. Cette revue fournit un aperçu des recherches sur les obstacles rencontrés par les filles autistes en milieu scolaire en rapportant leurs expériences ainsi que celles de femmes autistes réfléchissant à leur passé. Basée sur 17 articles identifiés, la revue aborde quatre thèmes : barrières sociétales fondées sur le genre, obstacles institutionnels ou physiques des écoles, attentes sociales et communicatives, et stigmatisation. Les résultats soulignent l'importance d'inclure les expériences vécues des autistes et de favoriser leur participation à tous les niveaux, de l'auto-représentation au co-développement de formations et de politiques.
