Autidacts, the Journal

Presentation of the journal

Autidacts is an open journal, created by autistic people. It is a collaborative platform where everyone can share their thoughts, articles, translations, artistic creations, and testimonies concerning autism. This journal aims to foster a rich and inclusive exchange while highlighting a diversity of voices and perspectives.

Autidacts is a participatory journal. Here, everyone can contribute to enriching the content of the journal, whether you are autistic or interested in neurodiversity topics. Anyone can submit articles, testimonies, translations, reflections, or artistic creations. Our goal is to create a space where everyone feels free to explore, learn, and share.
The "Autidacts" journal reflects the richness of viewpoints within the autistic community and beyond. You will find articles on a variety of topics, all connected to autism: neurodiversity, of course, but also culture, science, technology, social, political, and economic issues. We make it a point to offer a space where personal experiences and more theoretical reflections can coexist. Each contribution helps deconstruct stereotypes and enrich our mutual understanding.
Autidacts is a free journal open to all. No subscription is required to read or submit articles, as we believe in free access to knowledge and information. Everyone is free to submit articles, whether they are reflections, testimonies, translations, or analyses, to contribute to the diversity of voices and perspectives within the community.
At the heart of our mission is education and raising awareness around autism and neurodiversity. By sharing in-depth articles, research, and personal testimonies, we hope to help better understand what it means to be autistic in a world that often isn't. We also invite broader dialogue to encourage inclusion and respect for all forms of diversity.
Autidacts is a non-commercial project, entirely dedicated to the community. You will not find advertisements or sponsored content in our journal. Our independence is crucial to ensuring that the integrity of our content remains intact and focused on our community values. We operate solely through volunteer engagement.
Anyone interested in contributing or participating in the editorial process can contact us via our Discord server or through the contact form.
