Résumé/Présentation

Une revue de recherche est bénéfique pour contribuer au débat sur la conceptualisation de la neurodiversité. Ainsi, l'objectif de cette étude était d'identifier comment la neurodiversité a été définie et conceptualisée dans la recherche empirique. Une revue de la portée des recherches mettant la neurodiversité au centre de l'attention a été menée, en accédant à 10 bases de données. Les concepts clés liés à la neurodiversité ont été rassemblés à partir de 46 articles, et une analyse comparative constante a été utilisée pour générer les résultats. Les résultats positionnent la neurodiversité comme une variation humaine naturelle, aux côtés de sept autres catégories. Ces résultats ont été comparés aux travaux théoriques et aux premiers principes de la neurodiversité, en particulier ceux introduits par Jim Sinclair il y a 30 ans. Bien qu'un certain consensus existe dans le domaine, des contrastes et des débats persistent, notamment en ce qui concerne l'alignement de la neurodiversité avec les modèles du handicap.
